Inquiring minds want to know the answers to these questions!  You may reply by commenting at the end of this post, or you may email me by clicking here.  Can't wait to hear from you :)

Monday - Are you superstitious?  Do you have any beliefs or fears that are not based on fact, yet cause you to perform small life rituals to make things "okay"?

Tuesday - Chocolate Chip Cookies... do you prefer them crunchy or soft?  Do you have a favorite recipe?  Feel free to share :)

Wednesday - Real butter or fake butter?  Why?

Thursday - How many different industries have you worked in?  How many jobs have you held?  Does your experience seem to make it difficult to create a resumè?

Friday - Oh boy!  You were just delivered a blank check to spend on your weekend and all of your favorite people are available to join you in whatever activity you choose... how do you spend your weekend? :)

Never say "_____ has never happened to me" especially while driving, you wont catch me jinxing myself on that one. I am also always throwing salt over my shoulder and being incredibly careful around ladders (although I think they are just dangerous anyway). I love black cats and will go anywhere they go but birds freak me out a little especially when flying overhead. I'm pretty sure that if I wash my car it WILL rain, umbrellas are unsafe anywhere, and I've never felt good after breaking a mirror, ever. But I love the number 13, it's my mothers and my daughters birthday. I guess that makes me a little superstitious at times but for the most part I think positivity breeds positivity...and the same goes for the opposite. - Jules

Hmmm....well I do "knock on wood" and throw salt over my shoulder when I spill it. I guess you could say it is physically uncomfortable if I do not do it. Kailyn has a nightly routine that she must go through or she cannot fall asleep. It involves checking all the doors and windows to make sure they are closed and locked, then making sure all of her drawers and closets are closed.

Although I am not superstitious per say, I do admit that when I say something hasn't happened or won't happen yet, I always knock on wood. If there's no wood around, I knock on my head.

I'm not the least bit superstitious....unless you call being religious superstitious; so many people call religion a bunch of superstitions all rolled into a religion.

I do believe that what you put out into the universe comes back to you, good, bad or confused....so is that considered superstitious, or just being in tune with the sphere in which we all live....

Interesting question Kim, much food for thought on many levels

Soft and warm straight out of the oven with a BIG glass of milk. If I have to have them crunchy, I dunk them in milk!

Hmmm chocolate cookies....very crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, it takes some finesse to get them just right. I usually use butter in order to get the crispier texture, margarine depends on the water content....Crisco gives the softest, fluffiest texture.

Here is my favorite recipe the "real" Nieman Marcus one....simply the best.

(Recipe may be halved):
2 cups butter
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in blender to a fine powder)
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 tsp. salt
1 8 oz. Hershey bar (grated)
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet..Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies.. Have Fun!!!

Butter or margarine.....hgmm. Thar's easy, butter and only butter....why knowingly put oil and ingredients you cant even pronounce in your body. No one can tell me that real butter is worse for me than margarine. I don't use Crisco for cooking either.

I pretty much practice, if you cant pronounce it, or know what it is or does...then it doesn't belong in your food or your body.

I actually don't have a "butter" preference. Some are better for cooking, some are better for melting. My only concern today is for my cholesterol so I guess, for me, fake butter would be the way to go :-) - Jules

I've worked in several industries....however, the common thread for me is good accounting skills and the ability to sell anybody, anything. I have used my accounting skills mainly for inventory control intertwined with bookkeeping. My sales abilities have served me well in retail, wholesale and commissioned sales.

When you identify your core skills you can apply them to any industry....sometimes in new creative ways....you just have to have an open mind.

Now does it make it easier or harder to create a resume...more challenging for sure, though not impossible. Focus on your skills and not the fluff....tell employers you are well rounded person, show them you would be an asset to their company. As in all resumes....sell yourself and the rest falls into place.
